Here are some glowing references from
just a few of my delighted customers:
Jewellery Making Workshops
Sarah
from Sutton Coldfield: What
a great way to spend an afternoon for all those interested in
making their own jewellery, Estelle taught me to make a beautiful
necklace, recommending bead combinations and advising on styles
to suit. Her patient teaching method and enthusiasm for jewellery
contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Afrah
Muflihi (YCA Health Development Manager - Voluntary organisation
group): The Yemeni Community Association (YCA) in Sandwell
organised a taster jewellery making workshops for
the Womens group at the Greets Green Access Centre in West
Bromwich and the women got hooked.
Because of the success of the taster workshops Estelle now runs
a regular 2 hour learning workshop each week at the centre with
over 15 women participating. Each week women design and make a
jewellery piece that they take home with them & take real
pride in wearing.
The sessions has also proved very successful in engaging women
who were previously harder to engage in learning a
useful skill within a relaxed & informal learning environment.
Indeed the sessions have given some of the women the confidence
& skills to enable them develop themselves further. (e.g.
26 year old women with limited English abilities, visibly low
confidence & self reported no skills, excelled in designing
& making the jewellery that one could see her confidence grow
each week & has started to explore accessing other learning
& volunteering opportunities).

Children's Jewellery Making Parties
Holly,
age 12: I thought this party
was fun because Estelle did good demonstrations and gave us loads
of ideas for what to make and plenty of time to make our jewellery.
Everyone was amazed with what they had made. Thank you Estelle!
Holly's
mum: Estelle hosted a jewellery making party for my
daughter's 12th birthday for 10 girls at my house. The girls loved
it. They could make a necklace or bracelet and had heaps of beads
to inspire them. The girls were totally absorbed in their creations.
They made some beautiful and unique jewellery which looked good
enough to sell!
